Four-star defensive tackle Trevor Trout named his Top 15 on Monday morning, with USC Football making the cut for the coveted lineman.

The season of favorites lists continues on with the Top 15 announced by Trevor Trout, the four-star defensive tackle out of Chaminade High School in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Trout revealed his current crop of favorites on Twitter, including USC Football among a host of other top programs.

Along with the Trojans, UCLA, Texas A&M, Penn State, Oklahoma, Missouri, Minnesota, Miami, TCU, LSU, Illinois, Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama and Kentucky, made the list.

Trout checks in as the 15th defensive tackle in the class of 2018, per the 247Sports composite rankings. He’s the state of Missouri’s No. 5 player and No. 156 nationally.

Hometown Missouri is the favorite to land Trout, according to the 247Sports crystal ball experts, but with 15 teams still on the board, there is a long way to go in the 6-foot-3, 315-pounders recruitment.

More from Reign of Troy

USC has had great success recruiting defensive linemen in recent months. The Trojans sealed a monster haul of top defensive tackles for the class of 2017 in February, with headliners Marlon Tuipulotu and Jay Tufele signing on.

Four-star tackle Tuli Letuligasenoa committed to USC’s 2018 class back in April while former ASU lineman and JC transfer Dillon Faamatau has also pledged to the Trojans, joining either this year or next depending on academic progress.

The Trojans are also in the mix for a number of other 2018 defensive tackles, including four-star prospect Aeneas Hawkins who named USC in his Top 7 on Sunday.

USC’s 2018 class currently has six commitments forming a strong foundation for the coming recruiting season. Five-star linebacker Palaie Gaoteote and quarterback Matt Corral headline the class, along with Letuligasenoa, four-star linebackers Raymond Scott and Bo Calvert and four-star cornerback Marcus Johnson.
