One of the top track and field programs in the country continues to pile up wins. Competing at the Mt. SAC Relays at Hilmer Lodge Stadium in Walnut, California, the Trojans continued their winning ways. It started off early on with the women's 4x100m relay on Friday and continued throughout the event for USC. Freshmen Shaiquan Dunn and Jazonte Levan did well and placed first in their respective sprints and throws.

For Levan, his men's 200m race at 20.56 set a PR and edged out Arkansas sprinter Jordan Anthony, who came in at 20.60 in a separate heat. During Levan's race, as shown on social media by the team, the freshman separated himself from the pack.

Understandably a little out of breath, he was all smiles and gave the cameraman the peace sign following his personal record-winning performance. The Trojan outpaced Grand Canyon's Miguel Rosario, who finished with a 20.77. Junior Jaelen Knox for USC finished in seventh in a separate heat from Dunn at 21.11.

Fellow freshman Dunn had his throws show his continued ability to compete at a high level in a crowded NCAA field. In the men's shot put, he achieved a first-place finish with a throw of 17.73m (58'2"). Arizona athlete Youssef Koudssi's throw of 17.63m (57' 10¼") was enough to earn a second-place finish in the event.

Hawkin Miller from Cal St. Fullerton came in third with a throw of 17.43m (57' 2¼"). Fellow Trojans Kaden Garland came in seventh with a 16.82m (55' 2¼") mark, and Preston Beery finished 11th with a 16.38m (53' 9") mark.

Dunn also came in third during the men's discus throw with his 54.16m (177' 8") attempt. Arizona senior Zach Landa won with a throw of 58.89m (193' 2"). Between the track and field, it proved to be another excellent event for the freshmen as the meet wraps up its events on Saturday with mainly high school events, although the men's and women's hammer throws will take place for the college student athletes
