The Coliseum is one of the great monuments, in sports and otherwise, in the world. USC will be front and center when Los Angeles hosts the Olympic Games in 2028. Already having hosted the opening ceremonies in 1932 and 1984, the Trojan venue will play its forefront role once more during LA28.

On the social media page of the upcoming Olympics, it was confirmed that the Coliseum would once again play its part, serving as the setting for the welcoming celebrations of the event. Significant feat to be proud of for USC

Regardless of how the ceremony itself ends up playing out specifically, it will be a tremendous month for LA, and USC's campus will further distinguish itself in history. The Coliseum will be the first place to host the Games on three occasions.

Even with the buildup involving SoFi, the torch will make a return appearance to The Greatest Stadium in the World.

And considering the recent announcement of Allyson Felix being inducted into the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame, it could very well be the Trojan alumna carrying the torch into the Coliseum to officially kick thing
