It may be well past time to call USC's coach Eric Musselman the transfer portal king. Shortly after hearing of Kezza Giffa electing to de-commit, the Trojans' HC did it again.

As reported by On3's Joe Tipton, Ryan Cornish has committed to USC. The grad transfer has come off a four-year career at Dartmouth. During his last season with the Big Green, Cornish earned a First Team All-Ivy selection, as mentioned in the post.

Cornish is someone who just finds a way to score. He is used to the ball being in his hands in big moments during the game and has the confidence to be a premier scorer in the nation.

At Dartmouth, Cornish averaged 17.1 PPG during this past season. 10 times during the past season, Cornish went for 19 or more points in a single contest. To add someone with his experience at 85 games and ability to produce points is a fantastic addition to the Trojan lineup.

The Ivy League transfer may be a guard, but at 6'4", he has a lot of backcourt size. He can shoot the ball from range, certainly. An area Cornish excels at is in the pick-and-roll game and finding ways to get to the basket.

Even when the help defender comes, Cornish does an excellent job of staying composed down low and finishing through traffic. Being able to potentially get the opposing side into foul trouble and also somewhat easily get high-percentage looks is something that this USC offense will be able to look to put to good use during the 2025-2026 season.
