USC just secured a massive win on the recruiting trail. Elite 2027 defensive end Alifeleti Tuihalamaka has officially committed to the Trojans. The four-star standout chose the Trojans over an impressive offer list that included Oregon, Texas A&M, and Notre Dame, while also snubbing in-state rivals UCLA and California.
"Dreams do come true" Tuihalamaka said after throwing USC his commitment over the weekend.

Standing 6'3" and weighing 265 pounds, Tuihalamaka is a physical force out of Oaks Christian in Chatsworth, California. His production on the field is equally impressive as he has recorded over 150 career tackles, 19 tackles for loss, and 14 sacks. These numbers have solidified his status as a premier recruit, ranking him as a top 15 prospect in California and a top 20 defensive end nationally.
While he wasn't initially scheduled for an official visit to USC, his proximity to Los Angeles allowed him to become a regular fixture on campus through numerous unofficial visits before ultimately pulling the trigger on his commitment.
This latest addition reinforces a clear trend for the Trojans in the 2027 cycle which is California dominance. USC’s class, which currently ranks No. 4 in the nation, has grown to 13 total prospects, featuring a heavy local flavor with nine players staying home to play in Los Angeles.
