Only recently coming off an Emmy Award nomination for 'Arrival Of The Trojan', the creatives at USC are continuing to produce incredible pieces of work. The Trojans left no stone unturned when hosting recruits and commits this past weekend. How they incorporated the digital media aspect into the athletes' experience was a really nice touch.
Sticking with the theme from ancient times of warriors defending their city of Troy, the media team had a number of videos showcasing the athletes in the Cardinal and Gold. Nothing flaky, simply high-end production that gives the future Trojans something memorable that they will be able to always look back on with pride.
There were a number of these videos that circulated online. Arrogant Nation shared one with Shahn Alston. Through the red haze and with swords in hand, the running back looks ready to run through any defense in the country.
Tomuhini Topui, also known as Tom Tom, could be seen as a warrior in the Coliseum, as shared by Arrogant Nation on X. Heading from the field to the lower levels of the battle arena, the commit can be seen ready to face any challenge in his way.
Keeping the important past aspects of the USC program present
In a way, this speaks to a lot of the current approach by the USC staff in all areas throughout the program. They know the foundation that this program and the university were built on. The answer moving forward is finding the best way to blend the traditions and principles from the past that worked, along with some pivots that are currently needed in order to ensure success moving forward.
The class in which USC can elevate the programs in the eyes of athletes in a way that is authentic to who the Trojans are is something that is the envy of the rest of college football. Seeing the media contributions from this past weekend is an excellent place to look for further ways in which USC distinguishes itself.
