An aspect that is great to see at USC again is how well the program is recruiting. With the renewed focus and approach on the trail, the Trojans have put together two incredibly loaded classes. With a year to go before the class of 2026 arrives in Troy as collegiate student-athletes, Trojan fans can look forward to watching members of the incoming class play a year of high school ball.

With the season already underway for many, there are several future USC players who have been named to the Preseason MaxPreps All-America Football Team.

Among the Trojan commits named to the first team, Mark Bowman, Keenyi Pepe, Tomuhini Topui, Talanoa Ili, and Madden Riordan have been selected to the outlet's first team. Ethan 'Boobie' Feaster, Esun Tafa, Trent Mosley, and Luke Wafle have earned a second team distinction.

This is the type of activity that should be seen from USC on a regular basis. Particularly among the local talent, to have this many players being named as the best players in the country needs to be part of the norm for the Trojan recruiting efforts.

Looking ahead for current USC commits

In any event, having that many who are committed to the program to be given this distinction speaks well to what has been taking place at USC as of late. Now with a full season ahead of high school ball, there will be a lot of great H.S. action to watch before the players join USC for the 2026 season.

Already, the Trojan commits have done enough to be recognized for their talent and potential. After a year, the USC fan base will look forward to welcoming all of these incredible options to Troy as they further their careers. In the meantime, watching how they continue to separate themselves from their current competition will be something to look for this fall.
