USC vs. Utah Stae: How to watch, weather forecast, odds, and series history

Though USC fans are still basking in the glow of Sunday's 27-20 win over LSU, it is time to turn our attention to Saturday's home opener against Utah State. Certainly, the coaches and players have already moved on to week two and that's what every Trojan should do despite the big win in week one.

Utah State also opened the season with a win this past weekend. However, their 36-14 win against FCS opponent Robert Morris didn't quite make the national headlines that USC's win over LSU did.

In that game, the Aggies amassed 646 yards of total offense. That included 303 yards rushing for the day.

What's more, they averaged 9.8 yards per carry. That was helped by runs of 63 and 55 yards. Along the way, RB Bryson Barnes averaged 17.6 yards per carry while Herschel Turner averaged 11.0 yards each time he carried the football.

But what is unusual is that, despite the massive team output, no Aggie reached 100 yards on the ground in week one. That's because the carries were split rather evenly across the board with no player having more than 12 but with four having at least four carries.

Starting QB, Bryson Barnes didn't have to do much through the air. He was 11-21 passing for 198 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.

Still, few expect the Aggies to put up that type of offense against USC in week two. Though this matchup isn't expected to be a competitive one, USC fans are juiced for another Trojan football game after Sunday's big win. So here is what fans need to know ahead of this game.
