We all knew that the USC wide receivers were talented. But what Kyron Hudson did in the second quarter against LSU was beyond spectacular.

The redshirt junior went up and hauled in a one-handed grab for 24 yards to put his team in position for its first touchdown of the game. It was a catch that is going to be replayed over and over again all season and it could wind up being the catch of the year in college football.

On the play, Hudson was bracketed by two LSU defenders but he out-jumped them both and stuck his right hand up to snag the football. When QB Miller Moss let the ball fly, it looked like it might be a turnover-worthy play but Hudson saved the day with his heroics.

For his career, the Southern California native has made 34 catches for 345 yards and five touchdowns. That includes 17 catches for 189 yards and two TDs in the 2023 season.

None have been more spectacular than the one he made in tonight's game, though. And naturally, the internet is on fire when talking about that amazing play.

Currently, USC is deadlocked with LSU 7-7 thanks to Hudson's heroics. His catch set up a two-yard touchdown run by Woody Marks, a Mississippi State transfer.

However, on the ensuing possession, the Tigers answered with a 19-yard TD grab by Kyren Lacy. Already, Lacy has been a problem for for the Trojan defense. He has caught five passes for 60 yards and a touchdown.
