2021 Biletnikoff winner and USC Football No. 1 Wide Receiver Jordan Addison has struck an incredible NIL deal with United Airlines. According to 'Boardroom,' Addison "will participate in a content and engagement campaign, publicizing new routes from the airline." Specifically, here's what Addison had to say in an Instagram post caption where he makes his first ad for United:
"New routes coming this fall at United Airlines has direct flights from college towns across the country to help you follow your team without layovers," wrote Addison. "This season, you can fly directly from LA to watch our games against Oregon State and Arizona. Lets go let’s go!"
It's nice to see Addison make waves in the NIL game, as everybody deserves to get paid off of what they themselves reel in off of their own names, images, and likenesses. It's also great because now there's a clear partnership between USC and United when it comes to deals like this. Kedon Slovis had an NIL deal with United last year at SC too.
USC Football's Jordan Addison is a perfect choice for United to strike a deal with.
USC Football WR1 Jordan Addison is likely to have another elite season with the Trojans, which of course drives up his NIL stock. Addison had 100 catches last year with 1,593 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns in a worse offense than what he'll be playing in with SC. Playing for the top offensive coach in America is going to provide Addison a huge boost in his game.
And yes, he doesn't have Kenny Pickett tossing him the ball anymore, but he has another elite Quarterback and friend Caleb Williams throwing him the rock this year. He'll be just fine. The offensive line was ranked first in the country last season by PFF, and returns four of those starters. Williams is going to have plenty of time to find Addison as he gains separation from opposing DBs.
USC is going to be much-improved this year, and very fun to watch. That sells, and Addison is their best player. If there's anyone for United to get a deal done with, Addison is a perfect choice. It's a win for not only United, but a win for Addison, and a win for the Trojans as well.
