USC football steps into Week 3 against an opponent that likes to keep it close when they play the Trojans. The last time Fresno State played USC (2019), it was just an eight-point win for SC. In fact, in 2005, the Bulldogs kept it within eight despite Reggie Bush putting up 362 all-purpose yards and two rushing touchdowns.

They're likely going to play this USC team tough, which is why it's a shame that the game starts at 7:30 p.m. PST. This of course means that the game will be starting while the east coast is already asleep, and while the poll voters are already asleep.

This game will end at 11 p.m. PST, which is already bad enough. Couple that with the fact that plenty of poll voters on the east are not going to be awake at 2 a.m. when the game ends for them, and it's a very unfortunate time slot. At least, though, the game is not going to be on the Pac-12 Network, and to a national audience of whoever is awake at the time. The game will be televised on FOX.

If anybody needs a live stream for the USC football game, though, head to FuboTV for a free trial.

Any USC football fans can go ahead and get that free trial to FuboTV here. It'll be an important game to see, as USC is ranked in the top seven of the AP Top 25 poll for the first time since 2017. Not to mention, the opponent isn't too shabby either. Fresno State isn't 2-0 like USC is, but they're one of the better Group of Five teams in the country.

They almost beat an Oregon State team last week that received 42 AP Top 25 votes this week, losing by just three points at the end of the game. They blew out Cal Poly 35-7 Week 1. Their QB, Jake Haener, is a good one who's completed 74.7% of his passes this season and is yet to throw a pick.

Coming off of an impressive 2021 campaign where he scored 36 touchdowns (33 passing) to just nine interceptions, he has the chance to blow up against anybody (ask UCLA). The great thing about it, though, is that USC is more than capable of winning a shootout with Fresno State. Their quarterback is the second-leading favorite for the Heisman Trophy right now.

Caleb Williams is putting up 12 yards per pass attempt and 4.8 yards per rush attempt. Racking up 14.5 adjusted yards per pass attempt, he also hasn't thrown a pick either. This is a potential quarterback duel that nobody should miss. And if USC wins to move up to 3-0 on the year, the hype will prove to be all the way true about this 2022 Trojans team.
