USC Football QB Caleb Williams has been named to the 2022 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, which is a roster of 22 players who are recognized for their "outstanding contributions to their communities," according to Business Wire.

Business Wire also reports that the committee that selects the team "includes former Good Works Team players, journalists and officials from Allstate and the AFCA. The panel looks for players that demonstrate exceptional leadership on and off the football field." It's no wonder then, that Williams was selected.

Williams started the 'Caleb Cares Foundation,' which works to end bullying and also promote mental health awareness. He also has been seen using his Beats NIL deal to give back to not only his teammates, but other student-athletes, and even custodians. He's very grounded, and much more than just an athlete on the field.

Caleb Williams can represent USC football as the 2022 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team Captain.

In order for that to happen, people will need to vote for USC Football QB1 Caleb Williams at ESPN.com/Allstate. They can vote once a day through November 22nd.

It's already been amazing to see Williams get the recognition he's received off the field to this point. Him being voted as the captain would be even more tremendous for him and this program. He truly is more than just the top two Heisman contender he's been so far.

Sure, he completes 74.4 percent of his passes. He also averages 10.2 yards per pass attempt and 12 adjusted yards per pass attempt. And he may have scored 10 total touchdowns this year to no turnovers. Who he is off the field matters more in the community, though, and he continues to be an example of excellence both between and outside of the white lines on Saturdays.
