Caleb Williams had an unbelievable first half for USC Football in their ongoing Week 13 matchup with Notre Dame. He's nailed 10 out of 13 pass attempts for 146 passing yards and a passing score. He also had a beautiful 58-yard punt (literally). It was the longest punt of the year for the Trojans, out of anyone who's punted the football on the entire roster.

He also, however, had a rushing touchdown on a great decision to keep the football for the score with just 34 seconds left in the half. It was a beautiful touchdown, and Williams had no choice but to finally hit the Heisman pose afterwards:

He's right...He is the best player in college football. Williams showed up to this game having the best season in college football. He showed up to the contest completing nine yards per pass attempt and 10.4 adjusted yards per pass attempt. He showed up to the contest with 40 total touchdowns (33 passing) to three total turnovers. He showed up to this contest with 316 rushing yards.

He's somehow been even better tonight. And remember, he's putting up these types of performances with a team that was 4-8 last year. He came here this offseason and now has SC 10-1 with a 17-7 lead over the No. 15 team in the country at half. What he's done is nothing short of remarkable, and he has every right to hit the pose.

USC Football QB Caleb Williams needs to be the Heisman front-runner.

The only thing people want to see from USC Football QB1 Caleb Williams is his final "Heisman moment." He had his "Heisman moment" on the road against Oregon State in Week 4, when he threw a beauty of a game-winning touchdown pass for the Trojans to Jordan Addison.

But again, people wanted to SEE a Heisman moment from him. That game was a brutally late kickoff on the PAC-12 Network. Nobody saw it.

This game against Notre Dame, however, is on ABC's Saturday Night Football right in the heart of primetime (4:30 p.m. PT), and the whole country's watching. He had a first half full of Heisman moments, and made sure to let it be known on that last moment of the first half with a Heisman pose.
