A second-team All-PAC-12 honoree in 2013, Devon Kennard is our next NFL Draft gem from USC. Taken in the fifth round (No. 174 overall) of the 2014 draft by the New York Giants, he was just the 24th linebacker in that draft class to be selected. However, he would become one of the most successful.

A steady player throughout his career, the Arizona native would play nine years in the NFL. He also spent time with the Detroit Lions and the Arizona Cardinals.

2016 was his best year with 61 tackles. He also topped 40 tackles in a season five other times in his career.

In all, Kennard finished his career with 357 tackles in 118 career games. That included 26.5 sacks. He also forced four fumbles and had one career interception. That's a nice career for a fifth-round linebacker.
