2023 Grant Union (Sacramento, California) Interior Offensive Line recruit and USC football target Alani Noa has announced his commitment date and time. Four-star IOL USC commit Micah Banuelos said that he was going after Noa, trying to recruit him to USC as soon as Banuelos made his commitment.

It would be a heck of a pickup. Sure, Noa is just a three-star (all recruiting ratings and rankings in article are as of 247Sports), and the No. 57 IOL in the country. But, anyone can use a 6-4, 320 pound monster in the middle of the trenches, and SC only has 15 commitments right now.

All 12 teams higher in the recruiting rankings than SC for 2023 have at least two more commits than the Trojans currently do. Besides, USC only has three offensive line recruits right now, so Noa's services would absolutely be appreciated. It would also be nice to see him pick SC over Oregon--the two schools he's deciding from on Tuesday.

USC Football IOL target Alani Noa will be committing to a school on Tuesday at 11 a.m. PT on 247Sports' YouTube channel.

A west coast kid, it will be very important for the USC football program to make sure they lock down a commitment from the No. 62 2023 recruit in the state of California. And again, while three stars isn't ideal, there are only seven of the 12 teams ahead of SC in the national rankings with higher average recruit ratings than USC right now. They can afford a three-star if it provides important depth.

Next. Power ranking every Pete Carroll team. dark

And that's what Noa's commitment does, and why it's important. Besides, every team is going to take project three-star linemen that they will hope to develop. Noa is a mighty solid choice, and all eyes will be on him hopefully spurning Oregon for USC the way Banuelos spurned Oregon for USC.
