USC Football takes on Utah for the second time this week for the PAC-12 Championship Game on Friday. SC clinched this trip a while back, when they beat UCLA in an all-time series thriller after Korey Foreman picked off Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the game-winning interception.

They've only lost one game all year--in-conference or not. Interestingly, though, that one game was against Utah. Utah comes in at 9-3 to SC's 11-1, but nothing will be handed to USC in a matchup that's proven to be a tough one for the Trojans.

Again, USC Football kicks off the PAC-12 Championship against Utah at 5 p.m. PT, and the game is in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's at a neutral location; specifically at Allegiant Stadium.

USC Football vs. Utah Predictions

USC Football will beat Utah by a score of 45-42. Sure, the Utes won the first meeting, but it's safe to say that they wouldn't have with the two egregious roughing the passer calls against USC that the PAC-12 even admitted were incorrect calls. Both drives that those penalties saved resuled in touchdowns afterwards, and one negated an interception that would have given USC the ball up 14-0.

Also, that game was played in Salt Lake City. Utah is most certainly not the same team when they're not at home. Utah hasn't lost a home game since USC beat them in Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2020. They've lost three away from Rice-Eccles, however, this year (all three of their losses were not at home).

USC Football vs. Utah History

USC Football has historically crushed the Utes, by a W-L record of 13-8. Of course, however, Utah beat the Trojans earlier this year by a score of 43-42. SC has actually lost each of their last two outings against the Utes too, as they lost last year as well.

Next. Predictions for rest of USC Football season. dark

This time it will likely go different, however, as the No. 4 Trojans are a much different team than either of the squads they were in their last two meetings against the No. 11 Utes.
