While the USC fan base continues to wait for further positive updates regarding Alijah Arenas, the incoming freshman did receive good news. It's safe to say, however, when a student-athlete is in the same company as Jaylin Smith and JuJu Watkins, things are looking good.

Announced on Instagram, Arenas will now be represented by KLUTCH Sports Group as an NIL agreement was agreed to with the Trojan commit. For a company that has a large platform and brings a lot of notoriety in its own right, this is a significant, positive move for the guard.

Fans' first level of concern will naturally be about how Arenas is progressing. Everything appears to continue to go well there, as footage from his father, Gilbert Arenas' X account, showed the level of support his son had received since coming home from the hospital.

The Trojans are a few months away from focusing on the season opener directly, but as things stand now, there has not been any indication of Arenas being limited or forced to miss time as a first-year player on campus.

Role of KLUTCH for USC athlete

Even spanning beyond sports, the agency represents a fair share of well-known clients. The Rich Paul-founded company is known in the market. For some, KLUTCH is an unwelcome disruptor. For others who view it for what it actually is, it's an organization that continues to pave roads in a space that was too secluded and isolated, giving more influence that shows what is possible with willpower and ingenuity.

Among some of the names currently represented by KLUTCH are A'ja Wilson, Jalen Hurts, and LaMelo Ball. It's early, and Arenas will first have to go through the continued rehab process of recovering from his car accident. Looking ahead, however, with a strong couple of seasons at USC and his talent level, it's easy to expect to hear his name announced on draft night during the NBA event in a few years' time.
