With approximately three months to go, the anticipation of the college football season leads to a lot of potential to look forward to. The projections, hypotheticals, and over/unders go out the window when the whistle blows and the games actually get underway.
As part of the long preseason ordeal, the Trojans have now confirmed and released the start times for the upcoming games against Missouri State, Georgia Southern, and Purdue to start the 2025 season.
USC will play their first matchup against the Bears on August 30th at the Coliseum for a planned 4:30 p.m. PT start time. The first one of the year will be aired on the Big Ten Network. Then, the following Saturday, on September 6th, the Trojans will see coach Clay Helton back in Los Angeles, as that game is now scheduled to also begin at 4:30 p.m. PT. It will be aired on FS1. To open up Big Ten play, coach Lincoln Riley will take his team to Purdue on September 13th for a 12:30 p.m. matchup that will be televised on CBS.
A lot at stake for USC this upcoming season
Everyone knows how instrumental this season will be. In something of an overused term, 2025 truly is a critical juncture for USC.
There are a lot of significant and noteworthy developments that are happening among the current players, staff, and future recruiting classes. Because of how things are in college football, however, things can go up or down very quickly depending on what happens, particularly when the season itself starts and gets underway.
