There have been a lot of promising developments for USC over the past couple of months. Particularly in recruiting, there is some hope of the Trojans now being able to also add two of the remaining available prospects in the class of 2026. Jalen Lott and Ethan 'Boobie' Feaster each have coach Lincoln Riley's program in the picture as their decision date looms.

The possibility remains of being able to still add both players to the Trojans' top class of 2026 list. Even in the event of only one of the players electing to come to Los Angeles, it would be hard to be too upset about how recruiting has looked from the current 2025 efforts.

Certainly, in the event both Feaster and Lott end up coming to campus, there will be plenty of room for the Trojans to be able to house both and see each newcomer thrive while at USC. History shows that the lights in L.A. have the ability to give everyone a tremendous amount of shine that lasts a lifetime.

Add that this program is looking for players to separate themselves and take matters into their own hands, and there is only that much more of a reason for the best players across all position groups to want to join forces.

First of many promising summers for USC

The early stages of July may or may not hold the eventual confirmation of both Feaster and Lott joining the Cardinal and Gold. The fact that it is a possibility even with an already deep class should demonstrate how thorough and well-rounded the recruiting efforts are within the Trojan organization at the moment.

USC fans will know soon enough if it is a complete Fourth of July celebration worth celebrating for football-related reasons. In either event, expect for the Trojans to be in this type of good position on an annual basis with the way the current staff is working behind the scenes at the moment.
