The nation’s No. 1 prospect, Korey Foreman, named USC football in his Top 7.
Five-star defensive end Korey Foreman narrowed his list to seven on Wednesday afternoon, including USC football.
“I am a young black man that is happy and proud of my race,” Foreman wrote on Twitter. “The Black Lives Matter movement is and forever will be powerful and definitely never forgotten. These are the schools I will now be focusing on the most. Set the standard and…be different.”
Foreman’s message was accompanied by a graphic showing USC along with Georgia, Alabama, Oregon, Clemson, LSU and Howard.
USC football is the favorite to sign Korey Foreman.
Foreman is undoubtedly among the most coveted recruits in the nation, particularly since he reopened his recruitment and decommitted from Clemson in April.
The 247Sports composite ranks Foreman No. 1 nationally. Naturally, that means being No. 1 among defensive ends and No. 1 in the state of California. He is the 12th-best prospect in the history of the composite, equal to Joe McKnight who remains USC’s highest-rated signee ever.

Charles Power of 247Sports compared Foreman to the New Orleans Saints Cameron Jordan calling him “one of the more talented defensive linemen to come out of Southern California in several cycles.”
The fact that Foreman plays for Corona Centennial gives USC a slight edge in his recruitment. The Trojans landed his teammate Drake Jackson in last year’s recruiting class and the edge rusher had immediate success. However, there will continue to be fierce competition for his signature.
For what it’s worth, the experts in the Crystal Ball have given the nod to the Trojans for the time being. USC owns nine of the 11 predictions on record. Rivals’ FutureCast also leads towards USC.

The Trojans have a strong class brewing for 2021. They rank seventh in the 247Sports team rankings with Top 150 commitments from quarterbacks Jake Garcia and Miller Moss, wide receiver Quaydarius Davis, linebacker Julien Simon and linebacker Ma’a Gaoteote.
