Saturday night’s USC vs. Arizona game will air on ESPN2 with the Trojans and Wildcats vying for a critical Pac-12 South advantage.

More USC-Arizona. Scondi's Preview

This year’s USC vs. Arizona game could set the stage for the remainder of the Pac-12 South division race. What happens in Tucson is unlikely to stay in Tucson.

The Trojans are coming off a critical comeback victory over Washington State at the Coliseum, but questions linger over whether Clay Helton’s squad has what it takes to find their groove on the road. The head coach remains perfect at home, but his 10-12 record on the road remains a talking point.

Quarterback JT Daniels and the Trojan passing attack came alive against the Cougars. Can they replicate that performance against an Arizona defense still trying to find their feet?

More from Reign of Troy

Perhaps more critically, can USC’s defense contend with the explosive threat poised by Khalil Tate and the Wildcats?

New head coach Kevin Sumlin hasn’t had a dream start in the desert. Arizona lost their opening two games before bouncing back with two straight wins against two of the easier teams on their schedule in 2018.

A particular concern, Tate has not looked like the Heisman contender who surged onto the scene late last season. Will that change on Saturday against the Trojans?

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Pacific on ESPN2 with Adam Amin on play-by-play and Rod Gilmore providing analysis. Quint Kessenich will handle sideline duty.

Here’s how you catch the game…

Betting Odds: USC (-3)

The line for the game opened with the Trojans as four-point favorites, but bettors have caught on to USC’s struggles against the spread: They’re 0-4 this season ATS. So it’s no surprise the margin dropped to just three points, according to the Odds Shark consensus line.

The over/under for Saturday night is 58.5 points.
