Three offensive linemen are dealing with injury, but remain likely to play in Saturday’s Pac-12 opener. Here’s the USC vs. Stanford injury report.

USC vs. Stanford. Previewing the Cardinal

When USC vs. Stanford kicks off in Palo Alto, the Trojans shouldn’t be missing any offensive linemen, but the men in the trenches have been dealing with their share of injuries.

On Thursday, USC held back three linemen, center Toa Lobendahn and both tackles Chuma Edoga and Austin Jackson.

Lobendahn is coming off a pectoral injury which kept him out of the season opener. He was able to practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, so they gave him extra time to get fully healthy, head coach Clay Helton said.

Edoga has been dealing with a hip problem since Fall Camp and saw his work cut back as well.

Meanwhile Jackson has added tendinitis in his knee to a sprain ankle which has been dogging him for weeks. The sophomore didn’t practice on Wednesday and was once again limited on Thursday.

Despite the missed practice time, Helton was positive about their chances to suit up for the Stanford game.

“I’m confident in the guys. They all want to play,” he said, expecting to have decisions on their status made tomorrow. “They’ve just got some bumps and bruises. We try to get work one day, we try to spell one day. We’ll see where they’re at tomorrow.”

Helton also updated the status of linebacker Juliano Falaniko, who has missed practice throughout the week. He has an AC shoulder sprain and is unlikely to participate this weekend.

He joins a number of other Trojans who are likely to sit out. Those include tight ends Josh Falo and Daniel Imatorbhebhe.
