The 2018 NFL season in Los Angeles is chock-full of USC Football alumni who will be featured at the LA Coliseum and StubHub Center, home and away.

The return of the NFL to Los Angeles has created great opportunities for USC Football fans to check in on their favorite former players now suiting up in the pros.

The two Los Angeles franchises, the Rams and the Chargers, each feature a number of Projans to sweeten the pot.

Running back Justin Davis, cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman and wide receiver Robert Woods are carrying the torch for the Rams in 2018, with undrafted free agent receiver Steven Mitchell attempting to make the roster.

Across the way, the Chargers now boast two former Trojan linebackers: second-round draft pick Uchenna Nwosu and linebacker Hayes Pullard.

Those Projans can look forward to hosting a wealth of fellow Trojan brothers in 2018. Here’s how the the NFL schedule in Los Angeles shakes out:

The good news is, only two games played in Los Angeles this year will not feature a traveling Projan, and both of those are preseason matchups. The release of linebacker Brian Cushing from the Houston Texans ensured they won’t be bringing a USC player to face the Rams while the New Orleans Saints don’t have a Trojan on the roster. There are six other pro teams with no Projans: Atlanta, Buffalo, Chicago, Houston, Indianapolis, New England and Washington.

Essentially, if a USC fan turns up for a Rams or Chargers game in 2018, they’ll have someone who used to wear cardinal and gold to cheer for on both sides.

Highlights should including Su’a Cravens showing off his new look in a Denver Broncos against the Chargers in Week 11. Meanwhile, the Rams will welcome former USC head coach Pete Carroll and his newest draft pick Rasheem Green in Week 10.

More from Reign of Troy

The bad news is, the Tennessee Titans’ growing contingent of USC stars like Adoree’ Jackson and Deontay Burnett will be travelling to London, not Los Angeles, to face the Chargers.

Also, 10 other NFL franchises with former Trojans on the roster won’t be coming to LA, in the regular season at least.

That includes the team tied with Tennessee for the most Trojans, the Carolina Panthers, featuring Zach Banner, Wes Horton, Matt Kalil, Ryan Kalil and Kevon Seymour.

Unfortunately, two of the most high-profile USC rookies are also in that number. Sam Darnold and Ronald Jones II will have to wait to return to LA with the Jets and Buccaneers respectively.

Headliners like Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster, Jaguars receiver Marqise Lee, Lions linebacker Devon Kennard, Dolphins safety T.J. McDonald and left tackle Tyron Smith are not on the cards either.
