Which coveted USC Football recruits will be making their college decision on Wednesday as part of the National Signing Day 2018 festivities?

National Signing Day 2018 is fast approaching for USC Football with a handful of top recruits get set to make their college decisions.

The number of names in the mix may be smaller than usual for the Trojans, with 10 players already signed on during the Early Signing Period in December. However, USC’s targets for the day certainly make up in quality what they lack in quantity.

Here are the announcements you’ll need to plan your day around on National Signing Day 2018:

Wednesday, February 7 (Signing Day)

  • 9:00 a.m. PT ESPN2 — Solomon Tuliaupupu: The four-star linebacker from Mater Dei will choose between Notre Dame, UCLA and USC when he makes his Signing Day decision. Ranked No. 10 in California and No. 3 among inside linebacker, per the 247Sports composite, the Trojans could use another promising presence in the middle of the field.
  • 10:00 a.m. PT ESPN2 — Olaijah Griffin: The highest-ranked player left on the board for USC, Griffin has USC, Alabama, Oregon and Tennessee among his top schools. Clancy Pendergast is looking to stock pile talented cornerbacks in his defensive backfield and the No. 3-rated corner in the class would be a major prize out of Mission Viejo.
  • 11:00 a.m. PT ESPN2 — Devon Williams: USC already has a five-star receiver joining in 2018, but it would be a the-more-the-merrier situation for the Trojans to land Williams, a four-star receiver from Lancaster. Rated No. 6 among receivers in the class and No. 40 nationally, the 6-foot-4 pass catcher would even further bolster USC’s monster receiving corps. He’ll either be a Duck or a Trojan come Wednesday afternoon.
  • 2:00 p.m. PT — Penei Sewell: Originally scheduled to announce a commitment in December, Sewell has kept his options open between USC, Oregon, Alabama and Utah. He is the No. 2 guard in the class and the top-rated player from Utah, a state which has been fertile recruiting ground for the Trojans of late.
  • 2:15 p.m. PT — Isaac Taylor-Stuart: USC is in a race for another coveted cornerback in Taylor-Stuart, who is still considering the Trojans, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas A&M. Fourth among both corners and players from California, Taylor-Stuart would be a major addition to the Trojan secondary.

Unscheduled

  • Michael Ezeike: A former Oregon pledge, Ezeike opened his recruitment after Willie Taggart left the Ducks and now the Trojans have the chance to make him their own. Standing 6-foot-5, 220 pounds, tight end might be the future for this high school receiver who will be choosing between USC, UCLA and Oregon on Wednesday.

In addition to the players making decisions next week, USC has four commits who are expected to sign a national letter of intent for the Trojans.

The Mater Dei five-star duo of quarterback JT Daniels and receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown headline USC’s unsigned commits, while four-star defensive tackles Tuli Letuligasenoa and Trevor Trout are also set to put pen to paper.

More from Reign of Troy

The biggest question for USC going into Signing Day is just how many players the Trojans can actually afford to sign.

USC finished the 2017 season with 84 players on scholarship after Clay Helton awarded rides to specialists Chase McGrath and Reid Budrovich. Subtracting nine graduating seniors and four early NFL departures, then adding 10 early signees, the Trojans currently have four rides to give for four commits.

That means any additional commits, like Tuliaupupu, Griffin, Williams, Taylor-Stuart or Sewell would be joining USC with the expectation of an equal number of departures from within the squad, whether transfers or academic causalities.
