Kickoff time for USC vs Oregon at the LA Coliseum on November 5 has finally been set for 4:00 p.m. Pacific on ESPN.

Homecoming at USC will kick off against the Oregon Ducks in the late afternoon in 2016, with plenty of time for tailgating and other festivities throughout the day.

USC announced the broadcast channel and time on Sunday morning, a delayed revelation as broadcasters opted for a six-day window on game selections between USC-Oregon, Washington State-Arizona and Washington-Cal.

The Cougars and Wildcats were slotted into the Pac-12 Network’s 1:00 p.m. slot while the Huskies and Bears will play at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Before the season, USC’s November slate looked daunting with Oregon, Washington, UCLA and Notre Dame to finish out the season.

That schedule has morphed into something a bit more manageable with the Ducks, Bruins and Irish all sitting on 3-5 records.

More from Reign of Troy

Oregon opened their season with wins over UC Davis and Virginia, but a loss to now-highly-ranked Nebraska set off a five game losing streak. Colorado, Washington State, Washington and Cal bested the Ducks in turn before they rebounded with a 54-35 win over Arizona State on Saturday.

Last year Oregon embarrassed USC at Autzen Stadium, 48-28, even though the Trojans were hot off a four-game winning streak.

This year the stage is set again with a rolling USC team coming off their fourth win in a row on Thursday against Cal.

Of course, this time the Trojans are relatively healthy compared to last year’s match up, which featured a decimated USC defense. They also have two extra days of rest against an Oregon team that appears to be a shadow of their former selves.
