Odds for USC vs Colorado opened Sunday afternoon with the Trojans favored by four points over the Buffaloes at the LA Coliseum in Week 6.

For the third time in 2016, USC is the oddsmakers’ favorite. They’ll look to deliver on that faith by logging their third win of the season on Saturday against Colorado.

The Trojans opened with a four-point edge over the Buffaloes but the line has shifted up to 5.5 points, per VegasInsider.com’s consensus line.

Considering the venue and the tendency to give the home team a three-point advantage, oddsmakers see the match up between the two Pac-12 South division rivals as a close one.

Colorado has been the surprise standout in the South this season, already matching their best win total since 2010.

It’s not just that the Buffaloes have flourished in 2016 — they’ve blown out three of their five opponents. On the road, Mike MacIntyre’s team has been even more impressive, giving highly-ranked Michigan a game in the Big House and going into Autzen Stadium and shocking the Oregon Ducks.

More from Reign of Troy

After beating Oregon State last week, the Buffaloes are looking to improve their record to 5-1 and undefeated in the Pac-12.

USC, on the other hand, is in the process of turning around the 2016 season.

The September slate was not kind to the Trojans, who went 1-3 with losses to Alabama, Stanford and Utah, all ranked teams.

October has been more kind as USC dominated ASU at the Coliseum to start the month.

The Trojans are undefeated at home with Clay Helton as head coach, a streak USC would love to continue with three of the next four games in Los Angeles.
