USC vs ASU Kickoff Time Set For October 1 Game at Coliseum
The USC vs ASU game at the LA Coliseum on October 1 finally has a kickoff time. It’ll start at 5:30 p.m. on Fox, in the first late kickoff of the year for the Trojans.
The kickoff time was set to be announced this past Monday, but a six-day selection was enacted by ESPN for the early season Pac-12 South showdown.
After UCLA and Arizona lost to No. 7 Stanford and No. 8 Washington respectively, the Worldwide Leader picked the contest between the Bruins and Wildcasts to be their weekly Pac-12 After Dark broadcast at 7:30 p.m. Pacific.
That means Saturday’s game at the Coliseum will kick off in a primetime slot at 5:30 on FOX.
Last year in a late night start, USC won big in Tempe 42-14 to get revenge for the 2014 game, which infamously ended in the Jael Mary touchdown.

This year, USC comes in reeling. They will be looking to right the ship and turn the page from a disastrous September in which the Trojans went 1-3, with three frustrating losses to ranked teams.
A loss to ASU would put USC at 0-3 in the Pac-12 for just the fourth time in school history, and first since 2001. It would seemingly end their chances of winning the conference.
Arizona State has played a wild season to date, while going a perfect 4-0 for the first time since 2007. That includes narrow wins over Texas Tech and UTSA, along with a comeback victory over California that saw the Sun Devils score 31 points in the fourth quarter.

The Trojans are 6-7 since naming Clay Helton the interim head coach last October, but are a perfect 4-0 at the Coliseum under their new boss.
USC has also never lost a game coached by Helton in which they were favored. Given Las Vegas’s infatuation with the Trojans, that will likely be the situation going into Saturday’s game.
