Four-star cornerback Marco Wilson named his Top 5 schools on Twitter Saturday, with USC football making the cut among his favorites.
USC football may not have a cornerback commit in the Class of 2017, but defensive backs coach Ronnie Bradford is doing a good job of getting into the final stretch with them.
Marco Wilson of American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida was the latest to announced his favorites, including USC in his Top 5.
The four-star cornerback also listed Ohio State, Georgia, Miami and Florida, the local favorite.
Wilson is 6-foot, 180 pounds and is rated as the No. 27 cornerback in the 2017 class. Nationally he ranks No. 214 and in the state of Florida he is considered the 34th best prospect.
In addition to participating in The Opening finals, he recently visited the Trojans unofficially.

USC added safety commit C.J. Miller, a player who could concievably play cornerback in college as well, to the 2017 recruiting class in June. However, since the de-commitment of Thomas Graham, there are no designated corners pledged to the Trojans.
That’s not to say USC isn’t in the mix for a number of cornerbacks this cycle.
Four-star Fresno-product Jaylon Johnson recently announced his Top 7 while three-star prospect Jaylan Shaw included the Trojans in his Top 4. Graham also put USC in his Top 10 earlier this month.
Right now the Trojans boast nine pledges for 2017. Running back Stephen Carr headlines the group along with Miller, center Brett Neilon, tackle Andrew Vorhees, tight end Erik Krommenhoek, athlete Randall Grimes, wide receiver Marlon Williams, linebackers Juliano Falaniko and Daniel Green.
