USC football players getting ready for the season tweeted out images from Picture Day, giving fans a look at the 2016 uniform.

Now that Pac-12 Media Days have passed, the landmarks towards the 2016 USC football season speed by quicker and quicker until fall camp arrives.

One such landmark is Picture Day, when the Trojans suit up for promotional pictures and videos ahead of the new season.

The videos and pictures this show USC’s new home jerseys in all their glory, from the new pattern on the collar down to the simple black cleats the Trojans will wear.

Though it’ll be awhile before the new away jerseys get more of a run out, for now it’s great to see the players pose for shots in the cardinal and gold.

The big news coming out of picture day, of course, was the possibility that Adoree’ Jackson may be switching from No. 2 to No. 21 for the 2016 season.

LenDale White posted a video of the Trojan cornerback wearing No. 21 on Instagram, Su’a Cravens tweeted Jackson congratulations for continuing the legacy of the number and Jackson himself seemed to indicate that the number change was imminent.

Whatever Jackson does, this offseason could officially be termed the “Summer of the Jersey.”

In addition to Jackson’s number possibility, linebacker Cameron Smith also appeared to have made a switch when USC’s updated roster listed him as No. 55. However, the Trojans backtracked and switched him back to No. 35, with Clay Helton clarifying at Media Days that the No. 55 would be kept vacant for a season to honor Junior Seau.

That all came on top of updates the USC Athletics brand as a whole, which led to slight changes to USC’s home and away uniforms for this season. The Trojans have changed the number fonts on their jerseys and added a Trojan key pattern to the collar of both jerseys.

In a slightly bigger change, the white away jersey will feature a cardinal collar for the first time in decades.
