Three-star shooting guard Jordan Usher named his Top 6 on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, listing USC basketball among his favorites.
As the offseason trudges along, USC basketball continues to pick up momentum in recruiting, earning a place on three-star Jordan Usher’s Top 6 list.
Aside from the Trojans, Usher named Texas, Kansas State, Arizona State, Stanford and Yale among his top schools.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard announced his scholarship offer from USC on July 7.

Usher, who spent the summer in Italy playing for Team USA at the Adidas Eurocamp, is the No. 47 shooting guard in the class of 2017, per the 247 Sports composite.
An aggressive scorer, Usher checks in at No. 216 in the country and No. 17 in the state of Georgia.
Fellow Georgia-based prospected Lance Thomas named the Trojans in his Top 4 yesterday.
Andy Enfield is looking to continue USC’s upward trajectory in recruiting after signing a strong class in 2016.

The additions of four-star guard Jonah Mathews, three star guard De’Anthony Melton and three-star forwards Harrison Henderson and Nick Rakocevic have boosted the Trojans, especially in light of a turbulent offseason featuring four transfers and two departures for the NBA, including key starters Julian Jacobs and Nikola Jovanovic.

Along with the incoming freshmen, USC welcomes Louisville transfer Shaqquan Aaron, who is eligible to play after sitting out last season, and Minneosta graduate transfer Charles Buggs.
Enfield and company also secured the transfer of highly-recruited Duke point guard Derryck Thornton, though he will have to sit out the 2016-17 season.
Last year, the Trojans had an unexpectedly strong run, improving on a 12th place Pac-12 finish in 2014-15 to 7th place in 2015-16. As a result, USC earned a place in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011 but fell to Providence in the first round.
With Jordan McLaughlin returning to lead the way this season, joined by talented youngsters Bennie Boatwright and Chimezie Metu, the Trojans hope to keep the good times rolling.
