For the first time in history, Pac-12 Media Days will be open to the public, with fans from all programs including USC football invited to attend the festivities.

Ever wonder what it’s like to attend Pac-12 Media Days? You can get a taste this year with the conference opening part of the event up to fans.

Pac-12 Media Days are being held at the Hollywood & Highland Center on Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15.

The Pac-12 Networks is set to have a stage on the Central Courtyard to hold interviews between coaches, players and on-screen personalities including Mike Yam, Curtis Conway, Yogi Roth, Nigel Burton, Nick Aliotti, Ashley Adamson and Kate Scott.

Fans will be able to watch coverage from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and participate in games and prize giveaways. In addition to interviews, the conference has planned competitions for the players including a water bottle toss. They’ll also have caricaturists on hand to sketch the players and coaches.

USC’s representatives — head coach Clay Helton, offensive tackle Zach Banner and cornerback Adoree’ Jackson — will be present on Thursday along with representatives from Utah, Arizona, Cal, Oregon and Washington State.

Colorado, Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington and Stanford’s representatives will be on hand on Friday.

More from Reign of Troy

Last year, Media Days delivered with the usual drama and intrigue. Steve Sarkisian was misinterpreted as throwing shade at Oregon’s uniforms, Cody Kessler expressed frustration at being considered a nine-win quarterback and Su’a Cravens revealed his desire to wear an alternate black uniform at USC.

This will be the first Media Days appearance for USC’s trio. Helton has said all the right things since being named the Trojans’ permanent head coach and this will be a chance for him to continue that trend. Meanwhile, Banner might be the most entertaining player in the country and Jackson may be the most intriguing athlete of this generation.

Their presence should keep things interesting.

Here’s a list of the representatives from each program:

  • Arizona: Rich Rodriguez (head coach), Nate Phillips, Sani Fuimaono
  • Arizona State: Todd Graham (head coach), Tim White, Tashon Smallwood
  • California: Sonny Dykes (head coach), Steven Moore, DeVante Wilson
