USC Basketball Bracketology: Trojans Projected as No. 4 Seed
With less than a month before the end of the regular season, USC basketball is sitting pretty in bracketology predictions for the upcoming NCAA tournament.
The latest bracketology projections for USC basketball are in and the Trojans appear to be heading towards a high seed in this year’s tournament.
USC is riding high coming off a victory over UCLA at the Galen Center to complete their first sweep of the Bruins since 2010.
Andy Enfield’s men are now listed as high as a No. 4 seed in the East in the latest USA Today predictions. In that bracket, they would be in the mix with No. 1-seed Villanova and No. 5-seed Notre Dame. Oregon is looking at a No. 2 seed, Utah a No. 4 seed, Arizona a No. 6 seed, Cal a No. 8 seed, Oregon State a No. 8 seed, Colorado a No. 9 seed and Washington a No. 10 seed. UCLA is projected to miss the tournament.
Over at ESPN, Joe Lunardi has the Trojans back up to a No. 5 seed in the Midwest after dropping them following losses to Oregon and Oregon State. Also in USC’s bracket is No. 7-seed Utah.

As was the case for the USA Today bracket, UCLA is predicted to miss the tournament while Oregon earns the top seed in the Pac-12 as a No. 3 in the West. Arizona is listed as a No. 5, Colorado as a No. 9, Washington as a No. 10 and Cal as a No. 11.
Meanwhile, CBS Sports latest bracket also lifted USC back up to a No. 5 seed in the South where they would have the chance to face No. 9-seed Cal. No. 2-seed Oregon, No. 5-seed Utah, No. 6-seed Arizona, No. 6-seed Colorado, No. 9-seed Washington and No. 9-seed Oregon State.
USC will hope to keep their bracket resume strong with a season sweep of the Arizona schools this week. First up, the Trojans will take on Arizona State on Friday night in Tempe then they’ll look to knock off Arizona in Tuscon on Sunday.
