Trojan teammates Antwaun Woods and Greg Townsend Jr. will get their last chance to impress in a USC helmet at Saturday’s NFLPA Collegiate Bowl at the StubHub Center.

Both Antwaun Woods and Greg Townsend Jr. will represent Team American, coached by Mike Holmgren, as they face off against Mike Martz’ Team National in Carson.

The fifth annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl is set to kick off at 3:00 p.m. Pacific and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

This is a major opportunity for the two Trojans to impress NFL scouts before the slate of pre-draft workouts begin.

Woods, in particular, has thrived at practices leading up to Saturday, earning consistent praise from ESPN analyst Kevin Weidl:

Woods, who ranks 25th among defensive tackles, is currently projected by CBS Sports as either a seventh-round pick or an undrafted free agent, but capping off his strong week of practices with a big game performance could springboard him up the rankings.

Townsend is in a similar situation as the 25th ranked defensive end in the draft. He’ll need to impress scouts on Saturday and through work outs leading up to the draft in order to earn a selection.

A team captain, Woods started all but one game at defensive tackle for USC in 2015, capping his Trojan career with 33 starts. He contributed 41 tackles, seven tackles for loss and three sacks during his senior campaign. He logged on of his most productive games in the Holiday Bowl with eight tackles and a tackle for loss against the Badgers.

After serving as a backup for the majority of his career Townsend established himself as a starter as a redshirt senior. He held the top spot on the depth chart for all but one game in 2015, pitching in 44 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks.
