USC vs. Idaho: 2015 Score Predictions
Week 2 of the college football slate pits USC vs. Idaho at the Coliseum in a game which seems tailor-made for a blowout.

The Trojans enter Saturday riding high after their opening victory over Arkansas State. In a 55-6 win, the USC defense shined while the offense showed major big play ability.
Idaho, on the other hand, suffered a home defeat to Ohio in Week 1, losing 28-45 as the Bobcat offense blew by them with 489 yards of total offense.
The Vegas oddsmakers do not think the game will be even slightly close, putting a 43-point spread on the table.
Here’s what the Reign of Troy staff predicts the score in USC vs. Idaho:
Alicia de Artola, Editor
Unlike with Arkansas State, there is no reason to suspect an upset here. Idaho is as outmatched as a team could be. Where the Red Wolves featured a dual-threat quarterback and aggressive defense, the Vandals come in with a turnover-prone pocket passer and a defense which was among the worst in college football last year, particularly at getting to the quarterback.
It is conceivable that USC may not put up enough points to cover the spread, but they are absolutely capable of doing it with ease. With that in mind, I’m predicting a 63-13 scoreline.
Michael Castillo, Managing Editor
USC wins pretty handily by a 59-9 score to cover the spread.
Idaho’s Austin Rehkow has a big leg and will get some opportunities but if the Trojans limited Arkansas State to just one touchdown, they should be able to keep Idaho out of the end zone even more.
Max Meyer, Staff Writer
Forty-three points is too many to swallow here for USC, even though Idaho won’t pose much of a challenge. The Trojans are 8-0 all-time against Idaho, and look for a big celebration at the 9-0 after USC improves that record to 9-0. USC wins 52-10.
Sara Kakuris, Columnist
I think SC covers. While I do believe second and third string will get a lot of playing time, the Trojans still have strong depth there and aren’t facing much of an opponent challenge. Even trying to not run up the score, I see USC getting there easily.
Nick Connelly, Staff Writer
I predict a 45-17 USC win. They will cover the spread because the Trojans are bigger up front and will generate a solid pass rush while the secondary locks down the Idaho receivers.
Dustin Jacobs, Staff Writer
70-0, ‘SC covers. Idaho is a complete joke against middle of the road programs, this will be an absolute bloodletting.
WIll USC (-43) cover vs. Idaho?
