USC Football News: Pre-Fall Depth Chart Released
USC football released their 2015 media guide Tuesday afternoon and along with it the team depth chart going into fall camp.

Since the depth chart does not include blueshirts or new transfers like Taylor McNamara and lists all incoming freshman at the bottom of their positions as a rule, there is only so much to glean.
There are no major changes from the version of the depth chart that was released after spring camp, though a notable adjustment was made for sophomore offensive lineman Toa Lobendahn.
The Freshman All-American, who was listed as a co-starter with Chad Wheeler at left tackle after spring, is now listed as the co-starter at both left tackle and left guard with Damien Mama.
Lobendahn’s positioning has been one of the most fascinating storylines to follow this offseason. After a stellar first season, it seems unlikely that he will not occupy a starting job come Sept. 5. Chad Wheeler’s absence due to injury had Lobendahn filling in at left tackle, but it also seems unlikely that Wheeler would lose his starting place.
The new depth chart gives a window into the process behind settling those positions. If Wheeler is unable to get back to fitness, Lobendahn will start the season at left tackle. However, if Wheeler, who is reportedly ahead of schedule in getting back, is cleared to play, then Lobendahn would likely be expected to take Mama’s spot at left guard.
Of course, Mama could have something to say about that, while there is certainly still the possibility of more adjustments being made down the line.
Elsewhere on the depth chart, the season-ending injury to Ajene Harris is reflected in Adoree’ Jackson holding sole claim to the No. 2 job behind Steven Mitchell in the slot.
Somewhat surprisingly, Jalen Greene, who reportedly is due for a switch from quarterback to wide receiver this fall, remains listed among the QBs for now.
The same goes for Jordan Simmons, who is expected to change sides from offensive line to defensive line, but remains listed at right guard.
Meanwhile, Uchenna Nwosu returned to the line up as third string at strongside linebacker while Bryce Dixon and Lamont Simmons are no longer listed.
