Steve Sarkisian’s USC Trojans extended two new offers for the class of 2017 on Wednesday during the annual Rising Stars camp at Howard Jones Field.

The lucky pair are Austin Jackson, a 5-star offensive tackle out of Phoenix, and Thomas Graham Jr., a 4-star cornerback from Roosevelt High in Corona.

Blair Angulo of Rivals confirmed the Jackson scholarship offer, while Graham tweeted out the news himself.

The Trojans currently have just one commitment in the 2017 class, in the form of running back Stephen Carr.

Jackson is ranked as the 32nd best player in the 247Sports Composite, with a big 6-foot-5, 260 pound frame that gives him room to bulk out at the collegiate level.

Local ASU looks to be one of the biggest players in his recruitment thus far, though he’s picked up several high-profile offers of late, including Auburn, Texas A&M and Michigan.

It’s still considerably early in his recruitment, given that Signing Day is more than a year and half away, but it’ll be interesting to see how big of a factor USC becomes with Jackson.

The Trojans have a major need at the tackle position, given the current wealth of talent inside at guard, even with Nathan Smith and Frank Martin committed to the 2016 class.

As for Graham, he’s 73rd on the 2017 247Sports Composite, with USC sitting pretty with 83 percent of 247’s Crystal Ball votes. So far this year, eight schools in the Pac-12 have made a scholarship offer for his services.

Rising Stars will wrap up on Thursday, followed by Nike’s The Opening for those in the 2016 class. After that, only Pac-12 Media stands in the way of fall camp starting. T-minus six weeks.
