The USC Trojans saw two players come off the board in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL draft. Josh Shaw was selected No. 120 overall by the Cincinnati Bengals while Buck Allen followed up being chosen at No. 125 by the Baltimore.
Shaw will have a chance to grow and develop in the Bengals secondary. Meanwhile, Allen has an excellent chance for early playing time with Ray Rice departed.
As usual, social media had plenty to say about the draft action.
Here’s the best of the Twitter reaction:
Big congrats to Josh Shaw and Buck Allen!!! #Bengals #Ravens #USCtotheNFL #projans

WOW! Buck Allen jumps up all the way to the 4th Round. Good to see the former #USC tailback get a chance with the Ravens.

Buck Allen is the first USC tailback selected since @AllenBradford21 in 2011 and the 11th USC RB drafted since 2003. #TailbackU #USCtotheNFL

The four Trojans drafted all came through USC's Florida pipeline with three Florida residents and a Gators transfer. #USCtotheNFL

BAL is a GREAT landing spot for #USC RB @realbuckallen. Justin Forsett atop depth chart but older/journeyman. Taliaferro was '14 4th-rder.

If you haven't noticed, USC is an NFL Factory.

Some guy named "Jahvoryus Buck Allen" was drafted in the #NFLDraft I think. #keyandpeele sketch??

Ravens get a USC running back who led the Pac-12 in all-purpose yardage on day 3. Their Buck Allen pick screams potential value to me.

And there goes Josh Shaw off the board. The third Trojan player picked in the 2015 draft, just as we wrote it up last year of course.

Pretty remarkable Josh Shaw overcame playing in only three games last season, and a crazzzzy tall tale, to be 4th round pick. #USC #Bengals

My boy shaw!! Hyped for you fam! Eat up
— Randall Telfer (@RandallTelfer) May 2, 2015
ESPN has spent more time discussing what Josh Shaw did than they did discussing what Frank Clark did. Of course.
— Bryan Mac (@Bry_Mac) May 2, 2015
Would have liked Josh Saw before Cincy scooped him, feel a guard is coming in the next three picks

Josh Shaw is a pretty good corner. He was great two years ago and when he came back and had a good Senior Bowl. Bengals got a steal IMO.

Dear sports writers, every Josh Shaw joke has already been made. But keep trying.

Like Josh Shaw pick by #Bengals a lot as well....as long as they develop and play him at safety.
