Nelson Agholor had a big day at the NFL Combine Saturday, impressing scouts with a 4.44 40-yard dash and a good hands display before dislocating his finger while catching a pass.
The former USC star had to end his day early because of the injury, but the impression he left before bowing out was overwhelmingly positive.
Agholor ran a 4.44 second 40-yard dash in his first try before clocking 4.47 in his second run.
He was impressive during the gauntlet, which sees receivers catch passes from a standing position before taking off down a line with a series of passes thrown along their path, as well.
While the real affect of the Combine on draft stock is always questioned, the twittersphere certainly believed that Agholor began a climb up the draft boards with his performance.
Here’s the best of the social media reaction to Agholor’s big day:

So far I am most impressed with USC WR's Nelson Agholor's 1.53 10-yard split.

4.44 hand-time for Nelson Agholor. Figured he’d run fast but he looked smooth. 4.43 for Mario Alford, thought he’d be a tick faster.

Your consensus WR standouts so far: Phillip Dorsett, Amari Cooper, Dorial Green-Beckham, and Nelson Agholor. #NFLCombine

Nelson Agholor is looking silky smooth during Combine drills.

On improving draft stock:
Nelson Agholor may creep up boards in this year's draft as one of the top slot receivers with his effort today. Sick hands with a 4.44 40

Back-to-back sub-4.5 40-yard dash times for #USC WR Nelson Agholor. That's good for him. Should be a solid second-round pick. #NFLCombine

4.44s for Nelson Agholor is superb. He has a mid-first round grade for me. He's gonna go way higher than you think

After this morning, I'm going back and doing more homework on USC Nelson Agholor and UGA Chris Conley. Both made very good first impression.

Nelson Agholor going to look good in drills, test well in measurements, but maybe best of all he's just an A+ person. He'll interview well.

On the injury:
On which team could land him:
USC's Nelson Agholor looks like exactly what the Dolphins need. RAC skills, good balance, decent speed, returner. What am I missing?

Best of the rest:
Look up Nelson Agholor's high school dunk on YouTube. You're welcome.
