How much time between picks in each round of the 2022 NFL Draft?

Every team will have ten minutes for each pick in the first round. In the second, each team will have seven. In the third through sixth round of the draft, they'll have five minutes per pick. Once the seventh round comes around, then teams will have just four minutes for their picks.

What are compensatory picks in the NFL Draft?

Some teams are awarded compensatory picks so that they can keep up with roster numbers after the loss of free agents. A special formula from the NFL determines whether someone is considered a compensatory free agent. If that player signs with another team, that's when a team can be given a compensatory draft pick in return. The most amount of compensatory draft picks a team can receive is four.
