USC basketball game Thursday: Trojans vs. ASU Line, Prediction, Odds, TV Channel, Live Stream for CBB game Jan. 24
By Evan Desai
USC basketball plays Arizona State Monday night, and it's going to be a pretty unique Pac-12 matchup.
That's because USC will be playing a team without a Head Coach...
Bobby Hurley has been suspended for the game along with a player, Jay Heath, due to conduct towards officials in their most recent game. As the refs were leaving, Hurley and Heath confronted the officials. Heath even made physical contact with a ref.
It all started with ASU only getting nine foul shots compared to Stanford's 41. Pac-12 refs? Maybe.
Regardless, it's another blow to the Sun Devils 6-10 season so far.
USC Trojans vs. ASU Odds: Line, Spread, Over/Under
The spread for the USC Trojans game is -12 SC. The money line is -800 USC and +550 ASU. The over/under is 134, and it's -115 to take the over and -105 to take the under.
USC Trojans vs. ASU Prediction Monday
USC basketball will take this W. Their 16-2 record towers over Arizona State's 6-10 record, and for good reason. Hurley is one of the most overrated coaches in recent memory.
He doesn't have a system to his offense. It's pick-up basketball, where he sends the guards down the court and tells them to create their shot of choice.
Now with no Remy Martin in the picture, who was one of few players that exceled in that style of play, not making ridiculous shots it's been hard to generate much offense for the Sun Devils. They're last in the Pac-12 with 63.6 points per game, last in field goal percentage at 39.6%, and last in three-point percentage at 27.8%. The 'Guard U' myth has been busted.
