The Top 10 USC Trojans football players of the last decade

The last decade of USC football has been topsy-turvy, to say the least. Either way, ten players from 2014-2023 stand out as the best during their time with the Trojans.

4. OL Andrew Vorhees (2017-22)

Few players were robbed of their rightful NFL prospectus more than Andrew Vorhees. The offensive tackle entered the 2023 NFL Combine with late-first-round pick potential before tearing his ACL during drills. Such was a bittersweet ending to a lengthy USC tenure that included 44 games, of which Vorhees started games at right guard (25), left guard (8), and left tackle (4).

Adding an offensive lineman to any top ten list is often unpopular among fans because linemen are often a football team's unsung heroes. But we don't undervalue the stability and versatility Vorhees contributed to the Trojans' offense. Indeed, the Kingsburg native was a key blocker for Caleb Williams during USC's incredible 2022 offensive season.

The Baltimore Ravens selected the 6'6, 310-pounder in the seventh round of the NFL Draft. He finished his tenure at Troy as a First-team All-American (2022), First-team All-Pac-12 selection (2022), and the 2022 Morris Trophy winner.

3. CB Adoree' Jackson (2014-16)

Adoree' Jackson remains one of the most dynamic athletes in USC history. The Belleville (IL) native burst onto the scene as a true freshman, appearing in 12 games as a cornerback, wide receiver, and kick returner. Among his many college highlights is a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the 2014 Holiday Bowl.

Jackson's 2016 season is among the greatest in the Trojans' defensive history. He accumulated 46 solo tackles, five interceptions, and 11 passes defended. Jackson also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and two punts for touchdowns in 2016. Most Trojan fans recall Jackson's two interceptions during USC's upset win over No. 4 Washington.

Jackson was named the Jim Thorpe Award winner as the nation's be defensive back in 2016. He also won the Jet (2016), was a Consensus All-American (2016), Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year (2016), two-time First-team All-Pac-12 selection (2015, 2016), and the Pac-12 Defensive Freshman of the Year (2014).
