It was USC Night at Dodger Stadium this past Friday, and the Los Angeles Dodgers invited Trojans Head Coach Lincoln Riley to come out to the ballpark. Not only that, but they had him throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game against the Philadelphia Phillies:

He threw the first pitch to multiple-time All-Star infielder Justin Turner. Turner, a Long Beach native, is a huge Trojans fan, so this was a massive moment for him as well. New SC grads were there in the background too, watching their great new coach toss to one of their fellow Trojan fans:

Look, there's a lot of excitement going around this program with Riley now at the helm. The entire city of LA couldn't be any more excited about what's going on. So many Dodger fans are SC fans too; of course they'd love this. How many times have the stands erupted at the Coliseum when they play Dodger highlights going on during USC games?

USC Football Head Coach Lincoln Riley and his family had a great experience at Dodger Stadium.

There's no way USC Football Head Coach Lincoln Riley will ever forget the experience that the Dodgers gave him and his family. Check out the highlights from his day below:

Riley is arguably a top three coach in America, and certainly in the top five. With other Los Angeles sports teams like the Dodgers bringing in stars left and right, it was important for SC to bring in a star of their own in Riley.

They need to compete in this market, and clearly the Dodgers are appreciating the other teams in the area being aggressive to try to compete as well.
