The upcoming arcade-style football video game co-founded by USC's two-time National Champion PR/WR Greig Carlson, USC's 2022 Heisman Trophy winner QB Caleb Williams, and USC's 2004 Heisman Trophy winner and two-time National Champion QB Matt Leinart--HALL of GOATs--will be released in early 2024.
"We are developing an arcade style football game," said Carlson. "So, 7 on 7, over the top movements. Think like Blitz, or NFL Street, or NBA Street. That type of interaction where it’s crazy behind-the-back stuff, jumping, juking, all of that."
The game can be played via purchasing players through buying their avatars. The trio has already recruited nine college football icons to include in the game, and there will be more added later.
The players confirmed to be in the game right now are both legends of the past (two-time USC National Champion RB LenDale White, 2005 National Champion Texas QB Vince Young, and Wisconsin's 1999 Heisman Trophy winning RB Ron Dayne), and studs of the present (Kansas State RB Deuce Vaughn, Texas WR Xavier Worthy, Wisconsin RB Braelon Allen, and Ole Miss RB Zach Evans).
Leinart and Caleb Williams are two legends themselves who will be in the game as well.
In fact, the exclusive digital avatar for Caleb Williams in the game has now been announced to be released on Tuesday (December 13th, 2022) at 10 a.m. PT. What the avatar will look like was also unveiled:
Leinart was of course foreshadowing the Heisman Trophy that Williams ended up accepting on Saturday, as well as the avatar drop that will be happening on Tuesday morning. Purchase the avatar on hallofgoats.com, and be able to play in the game as Williams when the game drops.
Williams' avatar was the first to drop due to his accomplishment in bringing home USC's eighth Heisman Trophy on Saturday. This limited-edition Caleb Williams avatar will be available for purchase from Tuesday at 10 a.m. PT to Thursday (December 15th, 2022) at 11:59 p.m. PT. The collectable costs $30.00.
Gamers can buy this avatar for more reasons than just being able to play with the best player in college football when HALL of GOATs releases. They also gain access to AMAs with Williams through Discord, and more.
Part of the money that gamers spend on the avatar will also go to Caleb Cares, which likely rings a bell for many Trojan fans. Caleb Cares is Williams' foundation that works to end bullying, increase awareness for mental health, and empower the underdog.
Williams is most certainly the type of player one would want in the game--as he scored 47 total touchdowns (37 passing) this season to only four interceptions. He had 4,447 total yards (4,075 passing), which was the most in USC history, as he put together a successful Heisman campaign.
