What are the current Heisman Trophy odds for Caleb Williams, other finalists?

Caleb Williams is probably going to be named USC Football's eighth Heisman Trophy winner on Saturday. Williams took a 4-8 team that he transferred to this past offseason, and turned them into an 11-2 team with a Top 10 CFP Top 25 ranking. He scored 47 total touchdowns (37 passing), and threw just four interceptions in 13 games.

He's probably going to take home the hardware as he has the best odds to with the trophy, according to BetMGM. Here is a list of how the betting odds shake up for the Heisman Trophy (as of Monday):

Caleb Williams not only threw for 4,075 pass yards with USC Football this year, but also ran for 372 rush yards with the Trojans. He averaged 9.1 yards per pass attempt, and 10.3 adjusted yards per pass attempt. Williams has Duggan beat in every statistic mentioned in this article, except for rushing yards, as Duggan has him beat by 32 yards there.

But every other stat is in Williams' favor, and he also has a higher completion percentage at 66.1%. Duggan had a remarkable season, and is going to be playing in the College Football Playoff.

That being said, Williams likely would be playing in the College Football Playoff if he hadn't been playing in the Pac-12 Championship Game on one leg last Friday. He was up 17-3 on the Utes in the second quarter before his injury stripped his mobility from him.

The fact that WIlliams still completed 68.3% of his passes for 363 yards and three touchdowns in that game was impressive enough when not even 50% healthy. It proved why Williams is the best player in America, and why the betting odds suggest that he's a clear favorite to get recognized as such.
