Marcus Allen will go down as a Raider great for years to come as one of the best if not the best running back in Raider football history. Allen was selected with the 10th pick in the 1982 NFL Draft by the Raiders where he spent most of his career.

In his rookie season, Allen impressed right away by leading the league in rushing touchdowns with 11 and yards from scrimmage with 1,098 yards. Allen won Offensive Rookie of the Year his first season and even came in third in MVP voting and second in Offensive Player of the Year voting. Allen just continued to impress with his numbers, improving every season.

His fourth season was arguably his best as he rushed for 1,759 yards, the most in the league that season, and 11 touchdowns. He also averaged 109.9 yards per game which also led the league that season, which he won MVP and Offensive Player of the Year.

There is no arguing that Allen has a great career, he was a six-time Pro-Bowler, a two-time First-Team All-Pro, and was constantly in the running for MVP and Offensive Player of the Year. Allen chose to spend the last five years of his career in Kansas City before retiring. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
