Best NFL careers in USC football history
Keyshawn Johnson is another USC player on this list who is not yet in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. That does not mean he still didn't have an amazing career in the NFL. Johnson transferred to USC late in his college career but still went into the draft as a USC Trojan. He was selected as the number one overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft by the New York Jets.
It took some time for Johnson to become acclimated to the league, but recording over 800 yards in your rookie season is not something to overlook. In his third season in the league with the Jets, Johnson put up great numbers with 1,131 yards on 149 receptions and 10 touchdowns, a career-high. he was voted to his first Pro Bowl that season.
Johnson would go on to be voted to the Pro Bowl in his second straight season, but after four years with the Jets, Johnson decided to take his talents down south to play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for four years. He recorded a career 1,266 yards in his second season with the Bucs, but only scored one touchdown.
Towards the end of his career, Johnson moved around a little more spending two years in Dallas and then his last season in Carolina. He retired after his one season with the Panthers in 2006.
