Ron Yary tops the list as the best former USC player to have the best career in the NFL. Yary was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the first overall pick, the third player on this list to hold that honor.

Yary played right tackle his whole career and he was at the top of his position. He won a Super Bowl with the Vikings in his second season, even without being a full-time starter. Yary didn't become a full-time starter until his third season and it wasn't until his final season with the Rams that he didn't hold that title.

Yary may not show a ton of stats as an offensive lineman, but he shows that he was a the top of his game by being a six-time First-Team All-Pro and a seven-time Pro Bowler. Even though Yary retired after the 1982 season, he wasn't inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame until 2001.
