USC Trojans wide receiver Makai Lemon capped off an incredible and historic third season in cardinal and gold by earning the prestigious Biletnikoff Award, presented annually to the best wide receiver in college football. This honor followed his recognition as a First Team All-American by PFF, On3, and The Athletic. Lemon joins former USC receiver Marquise Lee as the only other Trojan to win the award.

Lemon is anticipated to declare for the NFL Draft, signaling the conclusion of his tenure at USC. Should this occur, he will conclude his collegiate career with 137 receptions for 2,008 yards and 14 touchdowns. His 137 catches rank 22nd on USC's all-time career receptions list.
Season Highlights
Lemon was electric throughout the season and played a pivotal role in USC maintaining a top-five offense. He delivered video game-like numbers and highlight-reel plays that kept the momentum alive in Los Angeles, helping the Trojans to a 9-3 record. USC remained in contention for a College Football Playoff berth until the final stretch, with Makai Lemon being a key factor in the significant step forward the team achieved this season.
Lemon surpassed 150 receiving yards four times this season. His first came on just four catches against Georgia Southern, totaling 158 yards and two touchdowns. He followed that with a 151-yard performance against Illinois, again scoring two touchdowns. He then contributed to victories over Northwestern and Iowa, recording a combined 22 receptions for 314 yards and two touchdowns in those two games.
Makai was relied upon heavily when the Trojans couldn't run the ball successfully and his awards and recognition are well deserved. Though his time as a Trojan is likely over, Makai has represented the university and program well.
Fight On, Makai!
