On Sunday, the Women's NCAA Tournament bracket was revealed, and the USC Trojans were named the 1 seed in Regional 4-Spokane and the UConn Huskies were named the 2 seed in the same region. These 2 teams already faced off once in Hartford in December and the Trojans took it 72-70 behind 25 points from Watkins.

Fans could see this matchup happening again if it goes that far, in the Elite Eight if both teams play their cards right. It would be a super close game if these teams get to matchup again as everyone wants to see Watkins vs Bueckers for a second time.

USC or UConn: Who would win round 2?

Well, considering that the first time these two teams matched up, the final score was by a super slim margin as USC hailed victorious, fans should expect more of the same if this matchup happens again.

Both teams have a superstar player in Watkins and Bueckers who could really help their team take over the game and also put games away late if needed. But they both have a supporting cast to help them out.

In the first matchup, along with Watkins lighting up the scoreboard, she had help from Kiki Iriafen who put up 16 points on 8-19 shooting to go along with 11 rebounds. Watkins was 9-16 from the field to go along with 25 points and 6 rebounds.

As for UConn, Bueckers put up 22 points on 9-22 shooting to go along with 3 rebounds and 2 assists. However, she also has freshman Sarah Strong as a strong player to look to for insurance. Strong put up 22 points on 8-15 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds.

Both teams have that 1A and 1B option to really help them as USC has Watkins and Iriafen and UConn has Bueckers and Strong. If both teams matchup again this season, expect another close game with either team being able to take this one.

Watson and Bueckers: Who is having the better season?

Both players are really good and superstars in their own rights but there is a difference in how each player has performed this season.

Bueckers is putting up 19 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 2 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. Bueckers put up a season-high 29 points on 2 occasions earlier in the year against the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Ole Miss Rebels.

Watkins is putting up 24.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.2 steals, and 1.9 blocks per game. Watkins put up a season-high 40 points earlier in the year against the California Baptist Lancers back in early December.

It can be said that Watkins is having a way better year than Bueckers is and it would be a thrilling matchup and super exciting if these two teams were to meet again late in the NCAA Tournament.
