USC football vs. Arizona kickoff time announced for Nov. 14

USC football will play under the sun against Arizona on Saturday with a game-time announced for midday on FOX.

USC football played ASU in the morning. They’ll get to sleep in just slightly for their Week 2 matchup with Arizona.

Kickoff time for Saturday’s battle in Tuscon has been set for 12:30 p.m. PT.

FOX will once again carry the broadcast for the Trojans.

USC football is looking for a less heartstopping time vs. Arizona

Weather in Tucson should be quite a bit more pleasant on the coming Saturday than it was in Los Angeles in Week 1. The Trojans will hope the entire affair will be more straight-forward as well.

USC and ASU were locked in a critical contest for the Pac-12 South race and the Sun Devils took a commanding 13-point lead in the fourth quarter. The Trojans had under three minutes to play when they launched an epic comeback and won the game in the most unlikely of circumstances.

The victory kept USC in the driver’s seat for the Pac-12 South title. Arizona will be looking to throw a roadblock in the way.

The Wildcats didn’t get to play in Week 1. An outbreak of the coronavirus on the Utah squad forced the cancelation of their opening game. They will make their debut with quarterback Grant Gunnell on Saturday.

Gunnell should be somewhat familiar to Trojan fans. He replaced Khalil Tate during last year’s tilt at the Coliseum and sparked some life into the Arizona offense. He finished with 195 yards and two touchdowns, plus one interception as the Trojans romped 41-14.

The best-case scenario for USC would be to recreate much of that game (without the major injury woes that piled up). A cleaner game than they played against Arizona State would go a long way.
